The high-quality workmanship makes the professional gong mallet S186 an enduring mallet with which you can easily create great effects on gongs or singing bowls . Thanks to its low weight, you won't experience any signs of wrist fatigue even when playing for long periods. The soft rubber head ensures a differentiated sound without annoying background noise.
The mallet can also be used as a second mallet in combination with the professional gong mallet L355, which is particularly suitable for large gongs. This gives you a mallet for the fine, clear tones and one that fully exploits the enormous volume of a large gong.
Optimal balance in the hand
The S186 professional gong mallet is relatively light at 186 grams. This is partly due to its small head, which has a diameter of just 7.2 centimetres, but also to the materials used. Matching the head, the handle made of organically waxed beech wood is 30 centimetres long and 17.5 millimetres in diameter. The smart combination of head and handle ensures optimum balance of the mallet. The handle ends in a thickening, which ensures that the mallet sits comfortably in your hand and does not slip.
With the professional gong mallet S186 you can play gongs from 50 centimetres to 2 meters in diameter and singing bowls from 4 kilograms. It does not overtax the smaller instruments, but brings out a fine and precise sound from the larger ones.
Light and soft rubber core
Inside the head is a natural rubber core, which is much lighter and softer than a metal core. It produces a clear sound without striking noises and was specially developed for playing on gongs and singing bowls . These properties make the S186 professional gong mallet very versatile.
Durable thanks to fleece cover

That's why we chose a high-quality and particularly hard-wearing wellness fleece to cover the head of the Mallet S186 professional gong. On the one hand, this ensures that there are no scratches on your gong. On the other hand, it protects the mallet from abrasion. The fleece also brings color into play: you can choose between 16 different colors.
